Responsibilities:
For our ongoing local and international BIM infrastructure projects, we are currently searching for several passionate Infrastructure BIM Engineers to join our team and to be responsible of drafting 3D models for Roads, Railway infrastructure, Geotechnical improvements, and any other linear works.
- Responsibility for creating, maintaining, and updating 3D models for linear infrastructure works.
- Responsibility for organizing the data used for creating 3D models.
- Responsible for structuring the projects from the start and making sure that the possibility for 4D and 5D BIM exists.
- Creating, maintaining, and updating the local 3D model Library.
- Responsible for timely & quality deliverables for BIM Projects.
- Adhere to DB quality standards and design guidelines.
- Assist the BIM Coordinator by providing technical feedback regarding 3D modeling in BIM Projects (internal and external).
- Work in close cooperation with the Infrastructure BIM Coordinator in all aspects related to BIM project’s planning and execution.
- Ensure that the BIM Coordinator is aware of aspects that might impact on the level of quality and timely realization of the projects.
- Maintain and develop relationships with the BIM Engineers from German offices, if the project requires it, at their level to ensure the implementation of the same 3D modeling guidelines in projects.
- Review and propose new procedures and rules meant to optimize the day-to-day 3D modeling process.
- Propose BIM trainings to the BIM Coordinator to facilitate the increase of quality and speed of design in BIM Projects.
- Continuous development of technical knowledge and software skills.
Qualifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent (preferably Infrastructure Design).
- Proficiency in specific 3D Software for infrastructure design (Civil3D, ProVi and knowledge of AutoCad).
- Knowledge of BIM coordination software (Navisworks, BIMCollab ZOOM, BIM Vision) represents and advantage.
- Knowledge of parametric modeling and IT development (Dynamo, Grasshopper, Python, C#) represents an advantage.
- At least 2 years of experience in infrastructure design.
- Experience with infrastructure 3D modeling is desirable.
- Knowledge of BIM specific terms, codes and overall process is desirable.
- Working knowledge of MS Office.
- Fluent in Romanian, advanced English skills, German language represents an advantage.
- Able to work independently following the internal design codes.
- Result-oriented attitude.
