For the ongoing projects of DB Engineering & Consulting GmbH in Germany, we are looking for an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer with German language skills to strengthen our team of architects and engineers in the Design Center Romania, located in Bucharest.

Responsibilities:
- preparation of static calculations for steel and reinforced concrete structures
- creation of static calculation models
- preparation of technical drawings for steel and reinforced concrete structures using specialized software
- elaboration and adaptation of execution details for current and new projects
- coordination and cooperation with other departments and disciplines, internal and external
- providing professional and technical support in the development of infrastructure projects
- participation in the preparation of tenders.
Qualifications
- hold a degree in civil and structural engineering
- more than 10 years of professional experience in structural design for steel structures, reinforced concrete and masonry (experience in structural design of glulam timber structures is an advantage)
- strong knowledge of Eurocodes and other International standards
- Knowledge of German language at conversational level A2/B1 is mandatory (mother tongue Romanian, knowledge of English is an advantage)
- good understanding of structural design software: RSTAB, RFEM, ETABS / SAP2000, (SOFiSTiK, InfoCAD knowledge is a plus)
- good knowledge of sectional design software: Idea StatiCA, FRILO
- experience with drafting and 3D modeling software Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit, SOFiCAD is a plus
- proficiency in MS Office Suite software
- motivated, with the ability to work independently and on own initiative
- team player mentality with good communication skills
- keen to interact with colleagues and get up to speed with DB’s procedures
- able to manage work from home / work remotely
- availability for travel and work abroad (Germany) for short period of time.
