We are seeking several motivated Railway Signaling Design Engineers to handle the design of rail projects in Germany.

Responsibilities:
- Working along international virtual design teams
- Deliver Signaling projects in Germany
- Being able to execute Signaling projects throughout their different stages (from feasibility, out-line, detail design, to design support)
- Produce various Signaling design project deliverables, such as Signaling specifications, tech-nical documents, Signaling plans, hardware wiring diagrams, schematics, and interlocking data preparation etc
- Produce design and undertake Production Check of own work and/or undertake Independent Check of a colleague’s work as required by the project
- Ensure project success especially with regards to content, costs, quality and time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in any relevant field of Engineering or equivalent experience, particularly in Transport/Traffic Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Telecommunications
- Highly mobile, willing to travel when required to meet business needs
- Prior professional experience in rail Signaling design would be an advantage
- Previous experience of working with German Railway Signaling system is not essential but would be an advantage
- Knowledge of ERTMS / ETCS Level 2 and European transport networks is not essential but would be an advantage
- Experience with planning and producing compliant Signaling schemes
- Business-focused mindset and manner with keen and insightful perceptions
- Experience in working within interdisciplinary teams
- Working experience with international teams would be an advantage
- Keen to develop new skills
- Good knowledge in AutoCAD
- Fluency in Romanian and English is required. Other language skills, especially German, are beneficial.
- Willingness to learn the German language is a must. Communication with the German region will be exclusively in German.
